About You
I really enjoyed the insight programme. Got to meet so many new people and network with them. Everybody was very welcoming and nice. They were happy to answer all our questions and some even got instantly connected on Linkedin. The games and food was equally good as well and helped learning more about the company.
I felt immensely valued during my time at the company. They welcomed us warmly. All the organizing people were very friendly and asked about our day and our studies at university. They made sure all the students were comfortable and had a lively atmosphere with the games running around throughout.
I received a great amount of guidance and support. All of my questions were answered patiently by the speakers. They made us comfortable which was instrumental in asking questions later on. And if didn't have answers to our questions they told us the right person to chat to get the question answered.
The skills I developed and the information I received will help me a good extent in my degree studies and beyond. Networking is a key skill and usually takes a lot of practice to master and such insight events help a lot in doing that. I would like to thank M&G for this event.
The Company
The insight event was structured perfectly well. Right from the welcome, to the speakers, to the games we played and the good food, all things were perfect. The QnA session was also organized and quelled most of the doubts that the students had in their mind regarding the company M&G.
The general atmosphere during the insight event was very good. Everyone was comfortable and friendly to talk to. All participants had good fun. I thoroughly enjoyed my time and can say everybody else probably too. There was a nice networking vibe in the end along with drinks and lots of pizza.
In terms of personal training and development, the company invested quite well. They reserved exclusive space in the center of their main office and organized it pretty well. They called well respected speakers and senior employees to give us a briefing. They were placement alums present as well who shared their experience with us.
The insight event helped me to understand a great extent to what it would be like to have a full time role with the company M&G Prudential. They gave us detailed information the internship and graduate programs they offer to students and what the benefits of working with them and for them.
The insight event helped me a lot in understanding the company culture. I learned quite a lot about the company. All the employees and speakers present told all the students about their working experience and what most they liked about the company and the projects they have for everyone at all stages.
The content of the day was very valuable in helping me to decide on my future career path. The various questions answered by the speakers, employees and current placement students helped quite a bit. They weren't hesitant in answering and honestly gave us the students their informed opinions and thoughts about the roles.
Everything Else
We weren't paid or reimbursed for this experience. There were food, tea, coffee and drinks for everyone and that was arranged quite well. Would have liked them at least reimbursing expenses such as travel since I traveled from quite far. But still the insight event was quite a good experience.
There were lot of opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company. They were very friendly and asked us about our day and where and what we were studying. They were keen on listening and getting to know us it was the same from the students side as well.

Yes we did find out activities that employees can get involved in outside of work at M&G. Various volunteering and paid days out were available with them and they told us about all of them. Some employees even shared their stories of the volunteer experience with everyone present at the event.
I would definitely recommend this insight to a friend. It was a great experience to have. I learned so many new things and heard so many stories from so many new people. Networking has its benefits and that is why everyone should get a chance to attend such insight events.
