The Role
The placement has been very supportive and educational. I feel more mature both professionally and personally.
Being a placement has allowed me to work on numerous projects and talk to people among a lot of different teams that are really helpful and will help you learn. The work I do matters to my team.
The support system has been phenomenal.
Work flow goes up and down, which is to be expected. There's an ok balance of busy periods vs not.
A fair amount of responsibility over my own projects as well as supportive engineers with their own projects where possible.
I think that living a working lifestyle will help motivate me during difficult studying periods, and I have learnt how to manage my time/meet deadlines better.
The Company
Pretty relaxed environment, without losing professionalism.
Great placement scheme, really well arranged and good links with the graduate scheme are apparent.
I have been put on courses I would otherwise have to pay for, and if I was to come back on the graduate scheme there is even more opportunity to perform further studies.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Fairly, there is a very good graduate scheme.
The Culture
Yes, thanks to the Young Professionals group that exists.
Fairly reasonable
Not the best, but there is some clubs around. There are opportunities to socialise with the Young Professionals.
A lot of people in the company run sports clubs that you can get involved in.
