Sales and Business Development Assistant Review

Hi started my placement as a Finance and Business Development intern and I was given many responsibilities since the beginning. I had the opportunity to experience other roles as well and I have been learning a lot about sales and Marketing as well. My managers have helped me a lot for any issues or questions and they made me feel part of the team from day one. I have a good relationship with my collegues and generally Warner Bros. has a good and positive working environment.

Since my first day my collegues have been very welcoming. On a personal basis I consider them friends becuase they have been a great guide for me and my new life in London. They have always been nice and friendly and, even during hard working days, they have always been up for a laugh and this made me happy to go to work every single day during my placemnt year.

My managers have been very helpful during my whole placement year and I have learned a lot from them. They have always been available to answer any questions promptly.

Some weeks are busier than others but I have never been left with free time. Every time I had spare time available I have been taking on new projects.

By the end of my placement I have been dealing for new business negotiations with lients on my own, I have been given accounts to manage on my own as well as customer relationship.

I have been learning much mor than I expected and this internship is for sure worth more than my University studies, because I have actually experienced the toopics I have been learning.

Everyone is very nice an friendly. My colleagues made me feel welcome since the fist day I started. My team has been available to answer any questions I had during this experience and i have never felt like I was annoying them for this. By the end of this placemnet year I had the chance to get to know well also people from other teams. With the office open plan it is very easy to go and chat with people from different teams and departments and everyone is available if you need any help.

The handover week from the previous intern was planned in details, covering all the main bits of my role. In addition, the training and developmnet sessions have helped me a lot in how to approach my daily work load and management skills. The assessment days also ran smootly for all the roles.

A lot. All the sessions have been very well organized and planned with feedbacks after every session, asking for point to improve. They ran through the whole year and managers from different roles and hierarchies were also involved to help us understand more parts of the business. These trainings definitely helped me being a better employee.

From the experience I had, I would love to come back for a future Job with the company. I like the working environment and the people. I also really like films and TV Series and I think it is important to work for a company that shares your same interests.

To some extent yes. At the beginning we used to go out all together more. Towards the end everyone went for its own way, having lunch at their desks.

London is very expensive but his didn't stop anyone from social life. Socializing can be cheap as well; it just depends on what you do. There are a lot of free activities offered by the company, such as screenings, bingo night, parties and volunteering days. All of this is free to attaend so there are plenty of opportunities to meet people and hve a good social life.

Very expensive. Going out for drinks more than once a week was not very affordable. The entry costs for clubs are also insane and this did stop me from going out quite a few times.

Yes, there were volunteering days, screening events, Christmas parties and other charity events all organised by te company. I have met a lot of people during theres activities and they take place quite frequently.
