The Role
The internship was very enjoyable, a huge learning experience and I got to meet loads of great people.
I felt valued by all of the people that I did work for and felt as though my work was appreciated and used.
The support given was excellent, with regular meetings with mentor, development officer and buddy.
Extremely busy on a daily basis. Never really had any time off and worked for long hours but that is part of the experience and part of the job.
Although work had to be checked, the work given was mostly for presentation to clients and therefore I was given high levels of responsibility, especially for an intern.
The skills help massively with my degree as I go onto study business studies. It will also help me in the future as it helped me to learn how to interact in the workplace and with colleagues.
The Company
Although the atmosphere was never dull, it was always very focussed and concentrated on getting the job done which is good.
The internship was set up very well, with all the events and work well organised. The staffer system worked well.
There was a week of training at the start of the internship, with accounting training, presentation training and program training which really helped during the internship.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
I will be joining as a graduate next year.
The Culture
There were regular events and some nights out with other interns which helped to get to know them.
The cost in London is quite high for socialising, although I lived at home which saved some money.
Nightlife in London is very good.
Offered to play some five a side football which I unfortunately could not attend.
