  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I enjoyed my work placement as I was always kept busy and had things to do that challenged me!

    • My team were excellent. Completely welcoming and always made me feel comfortable and valued

    • I had quarterly meetings with my Early Professional Manager who helped me with progress in my job role, and constant guidance and support from my task manager.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?

    • I always found new projects to work on while I was at IBM. Frequently busy, however if I had not sought out the projects, I may have been less so.

    • In my daily role I didnt have a large amount of responsibility, however in the extra projects I got involved in I was given a large amount of responsibility for multiple clients

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • The skills I gained are definitely skills for life. Communication with clients and colleagues is a skill I will always take with me, as well as being able to work effectively in a team.

    • The office I worked in was fairly quiet

    • It was generally very well organized. However, I think more meetings with the other interns would have been great, to develop our relationships further

    • I was able to visit several events and had many chances to learn new skills and go on new courses
