About You
Supervisors were keen to involve me in work they were completing. Really enjoyed the talks given by each department.
Such a friendly environment- everyone interested in getting to know you and answering any questions you might have had. Feedback was always offered and praise given. Trainees and associates were always very grateful for any help provided.
The graduate recruitment team were incredibly organised and willing to help in any way. They were also all friendly and made me feel welcome from the get go. Supervisors and buddies always made time (very willingly) to offer guidance/ answer questions
I completed similar work to the trainees so undoubtedly this will be useful for my future career. My supervisor wanted to give me work that challenged me and I am so grateful for this.
The Company
The scheme was very well structured. Really enjoyed getting to spend my two weeks in two departments.
Everyone was very friendly and keen to help. The planned social events were fun and a good way to spend time getting to know everyone.
Supervisors and partners spent a lot of their time explaining cases and matters to me to ensure I understood what I was working on. The workshops and department talks provided us with an opportunity to learn even more about the work the firm is involved in.
I completed work that trainees are required to do daily. This will therefore be incredibly helpful in the future.
Everything Else
I was paid for the two weeks and travel expenses are reimbursed
Yes I was introduced to most people in the departments I worked with. Everyone was very willing to meet with me to discuss things they were involved in that interested me.
The planned socials included after work drinks, lunch with trainees and an out of work social event in the second week. These were all really fun and it was great getting to know employees who were all very friendly.
We were given a talk on the first day about life as a trainee. We were told about the activities outside of work
Definitely.
