The Role
I will be very sad to leave and wish I could carry on my work with Savills
I felt extremely valued, even though many of my colleagues were extremely busy, they still made time for me
I was given near constant support and was always treated like a valued member of the office
There was no shortage of work and I had the opportunity to pick and choose work as I went
I was entrusted with secretive information and allowed to meet high status clients
The skills directly relate to my postgraduate degree and this was a good opportunity to gauge the levels of skills required to operate at a top level
The Company
Everyone was busy but everyone was also friendly. This mean that you could work independently when you wanted to and come and ask for help easily when it was required
The work placement was largely self led with the opportunity to complete the tasks that would be most relevant to your interests
An enormous amount of time was invested in getting me used to the computer systems, folders layout and software. when one person was busy there was always someone who would take over for them to train me.
Flexi Time
Company Parties/Events
I would like nothing more than to work with the company in the future as the work suited me perfectly
The Culture
I lived a long way from most of the office members so couldn't meet up out of work but in the office there were activities and fundraisers to get involved in
I managed to find cheap accommodation and the area I was staying in was not overly expensive
There was not a huge amount of nightlife but definitely opportunities. nightlife is what you make it
There were opportunities but not in for someone living on the side of town I stayed on
