The Role
It was a very enjoyable experience understanding the division and team and whether it is the right career for you. The learning curve and exposure you get as an intern was truly a highlight.
Everyone within the team was very supportive and willing to give their time for development and mentorship.
Supervisors had meetings with us regarding how we felt about staffing and cared about our development.
Very busy - you are given a significant amount of responsibility from day one.
From Day 1 a significant amount.
Your Excel and Powerpoint skills dramatically improve as well as your eye for detail and time management, all of which are useful for university
The Company
Very friendly - most people are very approachable and willing to teach
Very organised - the 1 week of training followed by working at the desk where you are given specific tasks shows the level of organisation into the programme
The 1 week of training is great as you can put into practise what you learnt when you are at the desk

Yes we have regular events and speaker series where we can attend and mix with other interns
Canary wharf is very expensive so most people love a bit futher and take the tube

We have a day of volunteering where we assist in the activities in a local park
