The Role
The work placement is good.
The larger summer project I am given is due in august, but the colleagues that are supervising me usually give me daily tasks or subtasks of their tasks. In this way I learn more useful skillsets, which I can implement in the project.
see the answer above.
There is no one monitoring me on a day to day basis, but there is always something to do. Either related to the project or some smaller tasks on request. It's well balanced.
I am given full responsibility of using my time as I wish.
I am doing an engineering degree, so the knowledge I acquire during this internship is not directly related to my studies but these are skills I have wished to learn for a long time.
The Company
The general atmosphere is easy going, but professional. It is easy to blend in with the colleagues as they are very welcoming and helpful.
Everything was in good order, enabling me to do what the internship had intended for me. If some problems came up the help was not too far away.
They invest sufficiently for the interns to grow.

The Culture
I was the only placement student, but the colleagues are -as mentioned- very easy going and welcoming, so everything is good.
I stay at home so no extra costs for me, but the city is very expensive otherwise.
good.
