The Role
I extremely enjoyed my placement year at Reed! It was an enjoyable and extremely useful year in which I’ve learnt so much and developed both professionally and personally. The support system and opportunities to grow are insane!
Always receiving consistent feedback as well as coaching and mentoring. I had both reviews and an appraisal on my set objectives and always knew I was working towards something and heading in the right direction.
The level of support from my team was incredible, my co members were always willing and keen to help me grow as a person as well as in my role. Honestly I had never felt alone and it was so reassuring having a support system!
Extremely busy! But in a good way- I always had clear and guidelines and set myself a to do list on a daily basis. I think how busy you are is down to you because you have to learn to prioritise and manage your time effectively.
Within the first 12 weeks I was asked to manage my own project which involved managing clients which of course was not my initial role as a Resourcer. It was so rewarding knowing I was achieving and progressing within my first few months to be able to be trusted with additional responsibilities.
I have gained so many skills and enhanced my communication skills and my confidence! There was consistent training and CPD which was extremely useful
The Company
Extremely positive! My office was so involving and everyone treats each other like a little family!
Extremely organised- we always knew what was upcoming and training was planned well in advance
Always receiving opportunities of CPD, we had a specific Resourcer training which was specific to our job roles and received regular coaching / support to excel. As well as opportunities to network with other co members within the business
Flexi Time
Financial Bonus
I love how there are so many opportunities to explore and shadowing days/ open days are offered too
The Culture
Always promoted after trainings and outside of working hours
Birmingham - cheap and because I was living home it was nice because I was able to save
Safe and can always have a good time!
Constant meet ups were arranged both with my team, as well as with the graduate team to meet and network with other co members within the business!
