The Role
Thoroughly enjoyed the week spent at the firm. The entire process was professionally undertaken with a number of informative talks and presentations. My seat was interesting and all those that worked in the area were welcoming and happy for me to get involved where possible.
Felt I was treated exactly as a trainee would be and offered real work that needed to be done.
Supervisors were clear and instructive though as a student who has yet to undertake the LPC, perhaps sometimes needed greater direction in task.
With preparation for the assessment centre, written task and work given by a number of associates, I always had plenty to be getting on with.
A fair amount, what I would expect to be given to a trainee.
Having just started the GDL, great opportunity to put the legal theory into practice which will aid me in the rest of my studies.
The Company
Friendly and open. All staff were happy to help and let you get the most out of the experience.
Professional from start to finish.
Clearly had spent time considering what would be most beneficial to us and a number of staff gave up time to speak to interns.
Very appealing, the firm is a well run and exciting place to be. Opportunities abroad as well as quality training means future employment would be very desirable.
The Culture
Good opportunity to go out for drinks with other trainees during the week and was offered to chance to get involved in the firm football team.
City of London isn't the cheapest but were told good places to go for a deal.
Went along to firm football team.
