The Role
Very interesting experience, enjoyable range of insights into Investment Banking
Was given work on live deals and work sent directly to clients
Great one week training program at the start of the scheme and would be able to reach out to manager/buddy if needed
Days highly variable - but nature of the job
Was producing work that I then directly sent to clients which demonstrates the trust Citi puts in its interns
Training program extensive for a ten week program and courses sent over before internship started
The Company
Very focused and driven environment, but often found time to connect with people who had wide range of interests
Some of the onboarding procedures need improving, but training week very well organised and plenty events throughout the summer
Good training program with access to additional resources, access to all necessary databases etc.
Company Parties/Events
Great firm if Investment Banking is what you want to do
The Culture
London expensive but internship well compensated
