About You
Extremely interesting and well organised. Our presence as interns was expected and appreciate throughout the firm.
I was given some client work to do as well as research tasks and proof reading. I was given feedback for all of my work and this made me feel valued.
We were guided every step of the way by the Graduate Recruitment team as well as our buddies, other trainees and all the way up to Partners. We were very well looked after in the work place and hat was expected of us was made very clear at each stage.
The skills did not assist me in my degree but i think they will be crucial for my future career.
The Company
Everything thing was planned to perfection, from talks to lunches, to the departments we sat in, to our induction to after work events.
Work hard, play hard.
Working alongside trainees as well as being immersed in departments made it very clear what a training contract at DLA would be like.
The company culture was consistent through all UK offices and everyone I met - friendly, enthusiastic and energized.
Everything Else
There were opportunities through the working day through being sat in an open plan office in practices areas, as well sa three organised after work events with Partners.
Really fun
People at DLA work very hard but everyone I asked had a hobby, no matter how small.
