The Role
My placement year has been a true pleasure for me. I'm very happy to have this kind of opportunity in my life. The job itself is very interesting and challenging. The tasks were diverse and engaging.
My colleagues treated me like a part of a family from the start, so there were no issues in terms of building up relationship with the team. I felt very valued by all of them and they managed to create a very friendly atmosphere.
I have received plenty of support from the start. My manager was very nice and patient and they taught me many things that would become essential in my future experience. Overall, I would say that my supervisor was very understanding of me and knew what he was doing. I never felt scared to do mistakes because usually the matters would be solved very professionally by my manager and they gave me plenty of help.
Throughout the working day I was quite busy as there was plenty of stuff to do which also helped me to learn crucial skills that will be helpful in my future career. However, it was not too hard, I had just enough tasks to learn and gain experience. It was a lot of fun.
I had a perfect balance of responsibilities that my manager trusted me. Never too much to feel stressed out. And just enough to keep myself busy and make sure that I learn things from a managing point of view.
I believe that the skills that I've learnt here will definitely help me in the future especially in the near future as after the sandwich placement year I will be going back to university. I would say that the amount of valuable skills that I've learnt at Pure Biofuel so far is helping me already in my daily life and I do believe that these skills will help me even beyond when I will start building up my career after I finish my university studies.
The Company
The general atmosphere was very friendly and pleasant. I've never had any discomfort whilst working at the firm. People were very nice and my supervisor made sure that I would feel satisfied at all times.
Company made sure that the internship set up would go smoothly without any hesitations for both myself and the firm. Everything was prepared perfectly.
The firm has invested a reasonable amount of resources in order to make sure that I have essential skills for the job and beyond.

The Culture
The area that I was working at is one the best and lavish in London. Very clean and very adapted for working.
We had plenty of fun outside of work: for example multiple festival events that I had a chance to be a part of.
