  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Very much so. I have been given a lot of responsibility during my internship which has been great. As well as working on important stuff in the office, I have also been out to do field work. I feel I have been valued both in and out of the office. I very much enjoyed meeting various clients.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Great support. In each task I was given, I had step-by-step help from my manager. In addition to this, I was also provided with weekly feedback talks with my manager which were very helpful.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The skills I have learnt are very practical to my degree. Specifically giving me a better understanding of different parts of financial statements. Such as: balance sheet, profit/loss statement, changes in equity, and equity lead schedule. This is all very practical to my degree. I would also like to mention I have gained personal skills such as public speaking and personal confidence. This was gained in the first week when we had a 2 day presentation work shop.

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The general atmosphere in the office is very relaxed, but professional at the same time. The dress code of the office is ''dress for your diary'' which means that if you are not meeting a client, you can dress casual. As well as this, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • It was very well organised. The first week consisted of training. We were taken down to London for the week where we met all the other interns and learned about the company. As well as getting to develop our presentation skills. This was all very well organised.
