The Role
I have enjoyed my internship a lot, and I am in a very supportive and welcoming team. Although this may not be the area I want to pursue in the future.
I feel my contribution is well valued.
I was given great support from day 1.
Some quiet days and some busier ones. Overall well balanced.
Was given my own project to complete independently and I was given the freedom to explore many options available to me.
Learnt some useful programming skills, which will be useful later in my career.
The Company
Relaxed and focused. A friendly and nice atmosphere to work in.
Very well organised with my own objectives and project to complete.
A good amount of personal training was provided. Whenever I asked questions everyone was happy to answer them.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
A lot of areas of the business are very appealing, although not necessarily in the area that I am currently in.
The Culture
Group chat was made of fellow interns. Many intern social events have been organised for us to get involved in.
Expensive area but the pay is relatively good which allows for the higher cost of living.
Knutsford is a quiet area with okay nightlife, nothing special but not terrible.
Many sports and social clubs/events which made the experience very enjoyable.
