The Role
I enjoyed it very much: sufficient amount of work and responsibilities.
They were all very inclusive
Good support, but I started in a busy period so it was more difficult to ask for help in case I needed it
Very good balance in the first few weeks, then a short period of stall and then it got better again
I felt I was given the right amount of responsibility, considering this was one of my first internships and I was new to the company
As a student of economics and finance, the internship certainly helped as it gave me a better understanding of the various financial instruments and reporting practices.
The Company
They are all very nice and in general they are available to help me
The overall work placement was very well organised, with activities for interns not only to gain more knowledge about the area they work in but also about other areas.
There were numerous training sessions, online courses and meetings with directors or managing directors which I found very useful
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
I would love to work again in this company, but for personal preference I would prefer to work in a different department
The Culture
There were some meetings with other interns and also with the team
The cost of living in London is very high.
The nightlife was ok (drinks or dinners after work etc.), but for activities later at night we had to move to another part of London
Yes: the company offered a broad choice of clubs interns and other employees could join
