The Role
I absolutely loved the internship. I had opportunity to rotate not only in two departments, but also speak with people from all (!) departments in Citi, thus creating a holistic view of how market work
Working in my team, I would be constantly approached by colleagues who were genuinely interested in how I am doing and if I need any help. Besides, I would always asked if I want to follow different people so I could learn more.
Senior colleagues constantly helped me and supervised throughout the whole process of internship. This allowed me stay focused, develop faster and meet set goals
I was constantly busy doing some kind of task or studying something new
During the internship I was given several tasks I was in charge of: writing newsletters that would later be sent to 200+ people in the department
Throughout the internship I rotated in two rotations which allowed me to dive into technicalities of two completely different asset classes. Besides, I had opportunity to communicate with other departments and broaden my understanding of the industry
