The scheme gave me a brilliant insight into the culture and working practices of Taylor Wessing and we were able to experience the full scope of what the firm had to offer. The vacation scheme was really well organised and gave us lots of opportunities to learn about the firm and meet people from all teams.

I was working on live matters from the first moments of sitting in each team and I felt as though as was valued as a member of those teams for the full length of my time there. Given the size of the firm it would be easy for people to slip under the radar however the grad team and various team members made real efforts to ensure that everyone felt fully valued.

Everyone I worked with during my time at Taylor Wessing was incredibly generous with their time and gave really good feedback in relation to my work allowing me to identify areas to work on and improve going forward. They also gave really clear instructions and took the time to explain the background of matters allowing me to get a real insight into the work I was undertaking.

Having already graduated the skills I developed won't assist me in my degree studies, however they will prove extremely valuable in my current role as a paralegal and they have allowed me to identify areas of improvement that will prove vitally important throughout the rest of my career in law.

There were really well structured 'Focus On' sessions given us an insight into the various practice areas across the firm and the group project that was organised allowed us to delve into some really interesting areas.

As previously mentioned above everyone at Taylor Wessing was incredibly generous with their time and were very positive about the vacation scheme which really helped generate a positive atmosphere. In addition to this, the other people on the vacation scheme were brilliant which made for a great atmosphere and really confirmed my desire to work at the firm.

It really did come across from those I worked with that the firm genuinely cares and aims to promote a fantastic working environment.

I would 100% recommend this vacation scheme to a friend as is was a fantastic experience that really reinforced my desire to work at Taylor Wessing. The experience gained and the connections made make this vacation scheme a brilliant experience that would help any potential trainee candidate make their decision about where to train.
