About You
Hugely enjoyed the vacation scheme. The Graduate Recruitment team organised a brilliant two weeks which taught me a lot about the firm and the practice area it specialises in.
Our buddies / supervisors made sure we were introduced to everyone in the department in which we worked. This helped me feel welcome, values and integrated into the team.
Everyone was eager to support me and answer my questions. A strong support network is provided with the buddy / supervisor system.
This vacation scheme confirmed my decision to study law and pursue it as a career.
The Company
Organisation was excellent and well structured using regular information sessions and group work.
The trainees went to great lengths to organise fun social and to support us and answer questions.
Lots of provisions were in place so that we had a supportive network around us.
The tasks I received reflected typical assignments for trainee solicitors.
The firm's culture was expressed through the way people looked after me and always made time to answer my questions.
Accurate reflection of the daily tasks of a trainee solicitor, complemented by informative sessions led by current trainees / associates / partner allowing me to ask questions about how roles change as one takes on different positions within the firm.
Everything Else
Salary was good.
A variety of socials were arranges in both formal and informal settings.
Very fun and quite relaxed.
Yes, lots of sports / pro bono opportunities.
Would 100% recommend.
