  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • The insight program was really fun, especially the visit to the BP shipping department (trying out the new tech) and also the application/interview tips were really helpful.

    • I felt valued as I was able to ask questions whenever we wanted to.

    • I was able to ask questions and I received a lot of information on the next steps for my application. I was able to speak 1-on-1 with the current employees too.

    • The interview tips will help me when applying for an internship role and have built my confidence.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • The insight programme was structured well as we had enough breaks between each task. It was slightly longer than needed to be however.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?

    • The atmosphere was great as we were all a group of likeminded students. The hosts of the insight program were really friendly and helpful.

    • We had a lot of help with the interviews and application steps and we were also able to try out some of the possible online test questions.

    • We spoke to many current employees who were able to tell us about their experience at BP

    • The current employees and interns we spoke to were clear about the BP company culture.

    • It helped to break down the BP application steps so I will definitely be applying in the future for a role at BP

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

    • I haven’t yet sent my expenses form but we were sent the form well in advance and provide with information about it on the day too.

    • We met many employees and were able to add them on Linkedin

    • Great, I was able to talk to the other students there and connect with them on LinkedIn

    • Yes the employees told us about the various perks or clubs the could join

    • I would definitely recommend this insight program to other students as it is very helpful in breaking down the application steps
