About You
I really enjoyed the vacation placement - I learnt a lot about the department I was in (Property Investment) and it confirmed to me that I would like to work at the firm in the future.
I felt very valued by the team I was in - particularly by my trainee buddies and the people I was sat with. The firm itself made vacation placement students feel welcome by being supporting in the assessment centre for the training contract and by ensuring socials were organised.
My trainee buddies were particularly supportive and everyone who I did work for was happy to give me feedback.
I hope this placement will help me when studying Real Estate as a module at university next year and I think it will help me applying for roles in the future.
The Company
Very well-organised and supportive.
Everyone was very welcoming and the atmosphere was an enjoyable one to work in.
As it was only a two week placement there was no formal training as such.
I felt fully immersed in the life and culture of the firm.
The culture at the firm is very important and I felt very accepted within it.
I will be able to use the skills I have developed here when applying for future opportunities.
Everything Else
I was paid a competitive salary for the two weeks I worked.
We had at least two networking lunches and I attended meetings that meant I met other people too.
We did a social with all the trainees to a crazy golf place which was great.
There was a rounder tournament going on one evening in the second week which we were invited to.
100%. The firm is a great place to work and I'd happily go back if given the opportunity.
