The Role
Its been a wonderful learning experience. I have enjoyed working full time and have had wonderful colleagues throughout who have trusted me and given me proper full on projects.
All my colleagues were kind, polite and helpful to me as they encouraged me to improve my skills and business experience.
I have been supported throughout my entire placement and feel that I have been able to improve and build my confidence throughout the past year, with lots of support throughout.
I was always busy with a lot of projects, support work and meetings.
I was given a few of my own projects which allowed me to work by myself, with the capability of talking and getting advice from my manager whenever I needed it.
I think that this experience will help me throughout my future career and future time in university as it has broadened my knowledge and understanding.
The Company
The people in the office were always kind, and fun to chat with whilst being professional. It was always great to come into work every day.
It was well organised and I felt I gained a lot of different experiences and events in place to allow for extra learning opportunities.
There was a lot of extra training that I was invited to, which made me feel very appreciated as there has been a lot of money put into my training and development.
Working from home
I would love to work for them once graduated as they are a good company that cares about their employees and pushes for our personal development.
The Culture
There was a lot of events put in place by other placement students, for the placement students to join and socialise which were great!
I dont particularly like where I chose to live but there was a lot of different things to do because it is a university town.
There was a lot of nightlife, which I dont know a lot about due to the fact I dont really like the nightlife.
There were a lot of opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work, such as volunteering, socialising events, etc..
