The Role
I enjoyed my placement as it offered me the opportunity to experience a fast-paced work environment at one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in the world. I would highly recommend a placement to GSK to any student.
I feel very valued by my colleagues and am treated as part of the team.
I got a lot of support and guidance from my supervisors with any issues.
I was kept busy which I really enjoyed.
I was given significant responsibility.
I received extensive laboratory and these have developed significantly from being at university. I learnt how to use the theory I was taught at university and apply it to a work environment.
The Company
Positive and friendly.
Well run and kept busy.
I was given training and allowed me to develop.
Not that appealing as the process is quite rigorous.
The Culture
No the fellow placement students didn't socialise and weren't very mature.
Expect London renting prices and a quite town.
Non-existent
Not many you had to really find things to occupy your time.
