About You
The members of the firm were very welcoming and open to being asked questions. The other vacation scheme students were nice and easy to get along with. I really enjoyed the social events, especially playing darts at Flight Club!
I was given lots of responsibility from the start of the scheme, and as a result felt valued.
Some departments were extremely busy during our time at the firm, and as a result at some times feedback from supervisors was not as extensive as I would have wished.
I learnt some valuable skills from the tasked we were required to do. The group presentation forced us to work together effectively, and this is a skill I will take from the scheme.
The Company
The scheme was very well planned and carried out by the graduate recruitment department.
Very positive! The firms summer party was also a very enjoyable experience!
There were regular talks from different practice areas which contributed usefully to my understanding of the law firms practice.
Some tasks were not live, which is to be expected, and is something that most vac schemes will be unable to replicate.
We met many of the firms employees, all of whom were extremely kind and welcoming.
Useful talks from practice area heads were helpful in deciding which areas of law I may want to pursue a career in.
Everything Else
Yes, the social calendar was jam packed with many different events.
The firms summer party was the highlight of the social calendar.
There was some mention of sports teams and other clubs.
As an introduction to law in the City, I would recommend TW’s scheme to a friend.
