    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • The training and pay was good and there are great promotional opportunities within Enterprise after you graduate, a great incentive to come back!

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • From managers to interns, everyone in Enterprise is treated the same. From the start of my placement I was treated with respect and never felt any different.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Support and guidance is always provided. All of the management team is approachable and if you ever needed more help, it is always given to you.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Because you are working in a retail branch, the days differed. On the less busier days, there is more training or going out on marketing calls, or catching up on admin. However, there can be some long days meaning overtime. However, this is all payed at a good rate, so I didn't mind working overtime.

    3/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • There was an opportunity 4 months into my placement that due to management shifts, I had to act on behalf of the manager of another branch. This catapulted me into learning quickly how to run a successful branch which was exciting to learn and made me a very useful member of staff to my branch when I returned.

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Doing this placement, I had the chance to learn about Sales, Marketing, Training/HR, Operations/Logistics, Accounting which has given me insight into lots of different job opportunities for the future.

    4/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The office was generally very positive. It helps to have a positive attitude at all times, because if a colleague was being negative, you could help change their mood, affecting the general atmosphere.

    5/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • The training week at the start was a great insight into what was expected from us on placement and to prepare us for what branch life is going to be like. It also allowed us to network with other people in our situation and make some great connections, some that I will definitely be staying in contact with.

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • The training was good and constant. It was well structured so that 3 months into your placement you should know the standard ongoing of the business then at 6 month you have progressed to learn something more in-depth.

    4/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Financial Bonus

    Company Parties/Events

    5/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Reading is generally an expensive area due to being near London, but from going to University of Reading I knew what to expect.

    2/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • The nightlife was good and it was an area I am familiar with due to going to the local University
