About You
Thoroughly enjoyed it - great experience getting involved in real work and meeting the people that worked here. Great socials organised.
Felt appreciated and valued. Was given meaningful work and felt that time was invested into my own professional development. Had the opportunity to speak to and meet clients.
This differed depending where I was sat but was understandable on account of my supervisors workload.
The skills I learnt over these two weeks will definitely assist in my future career as I developed my letter writing skills, honed my research abilities and practiced client contact.
The Company
Very well structured - lots of focus-on sessions to learn about all the different department areas and various social events in the evening. Didn't see much of the Graduate Talent team which was a shame.
Very positive - would be very happy to work here. Really enjoyed the work I carried out and the people that I met.
Thoroughly invested in my professional development. Lawyers at all levels really took the time to explain concepts through with me to make sure I really understood and gave detailed feedback.
I feel I had a good experience of my time here - had the opportunity to get involved in lots of varied pieces of work.
This experience really confirmed the warm and friendly culture I expected at Taylor Wessing and I really enjoyed it.
The focus-on sessions were very useful to learn about the different department areas and where I want to qualify one day.
Everything Else
Adequate pay - competitive salary.
Lots of evening socials and networking events where we could speak to trainees. Would have been nice if the dinner was with people other than the trainees e.g. the graduate talent team.
Really fun enjoyable activities! Had rooftop cocktails, went to the Flight Club and was even invited to the Firm's summer party in the first week. This was followed by a three course meal and rooftop drinks in the second week.
Yes, there was the opportunity to join the sports activities and to attend the Blackfriars Settlement pro bono clinic.
Yes - had a thoroughly enjoyable experience and really learnt a lot.
