Intern Review

I enjoyed the 4 week Placement, to the fullest extent I feel as though i have gained invaluable information and knowledge on the property industry. Due to the level of access the company allowed me to have i was able to explore and understand different markets and division within the company.

From the initial invitation to the assessment centre i felt valued and catered to. The attention to detail that the graduate HR have was shocking as they were engaging and organised. Additionally, interacting with members of the company at different levels helped also to build up contacts and see how the company as a whole works.

I received a reasonable amount of one-one guidance throughout. Overall the workshop/lectures added to the insight of the industry. Overall whilst completing the task given I was guided on why it necessary and how it feeds into the overall aim. from begining to end there is support from the whole team.

The skills i gave developed will help propel me through University as i feel my written communication has developed my understanding of excel and how it is relevant has been key. this will aid my studies when applying them to my coursework as my perspective is more realistically based on the work I have done.

There is a day to day plan of events that is given to you at the start of the insight week. This allows you arrange and organise your time effectively. A combination of both cultural and informative talks were arranged this allowed us to gain perspective around different markets throughout London and the UK.

Overall Savills has a high and positive energy. It is a welcoming and friendly environment where i felt comfortable from day one. Everyone is inclusive and want to make the experience the best it can be there is a deep community feel as it seems that everyone is connected regardless of the line of work.
