  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Very much. I throughly enjoyed my placement with Tata Steel in Trostre, they really made me feel like one of the team.

    • I had a lot of skill development that really will assist me with understanding how practical engineering works.

    • A real family vibe

    • Very organised within my division, but not necessarily by central HR.

    • I was able to visit customer plants and go to a very informative and inspiring symposium in the Netherlands.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Not entirely, but that was due to the small nature of the site that I worked at.

    • Alright, but repetitive.
