    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • Overall, it was very good. I met loads of people, learnt so much that you couldn't out of a textbook and obtained a good understanding of the functioning of different departments within Savills.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • Everyone was very nice, always inviting me to the social events.

    5/5

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • Can't fault this, everyone was approachable when I had queries.

    5/5

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I'm going on to do my masters in real estate having never studied the subject before. This experience has definitely made me feel more confident going in to the masters and also greatly assisted in knowing what optional module pathway I would like to go down in my masters.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • I was in two different teams. In my first team, it was structured ok but not great. Generally I would complete a task and then they would find me another one to do but there were sometimes when I really wasn't doing much. My second team went to a great effort to create a timetable for me and I was busy at every moment! I really appreciate that effort done by the team and it is definitely a 10/10 on their part.

    4/5

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • Fun and friendly.

    5/5

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I have definitely learnt a lot of skills through the various exercises I have done. I haven't received any personal training or development but nor would I expect that in a four week internship. The company did put on regular skype departmental overviews to boost knowledge of different departments.

    5/5

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • 10/10 for my second team as they purposely structured my timetable to demonstrate what the main extent of their roles involve. Perhaps not so much in my first team but I still could hazard a good estimation.

    4/5

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • Definitely as you experience the office culture as well as the social culture.

    5/5

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?
  • It's been very helpful.

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?
  • Good wage.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
