The Role
Good experience with a good firm! I enjoyed most of the work that I was given, but the client site which I was based had quite a boring office atmosphere.
Not hugely - everyone seemed unprepared for me being there and I felt like I often had to badger people to give me jobs.
We had a training day with all the other interns on the first day, but that was it.
Busy with photocopying was always the case, but I was less busy with other work that would have benefitted my development.
Some tasks were important, but were also very easy so I didn't feel too challenged.
I have done accounting modules at university, and it was good to be able to apply the knowledge learned here into the real world.
The Company
So dull. It was so rare to hear a laugh.
My office didn't seem very well prepared for me. They thought that I was going to be there for six months, not two weeks.
The first training day and then some practical experience.
Subsidised Canteen
Hugely, despite one bad experience I still think that the firm on the whole is great.
The Culture
We often met up for drinks after work, and sometimes we met up for lunch too.
I lived close enough to go home every night so living was cheap. Going out is never too cheap in London, but lunch was always ok because that was subsidised.
London!
Too short a programme to get fully involved in anything.
