The Role
Well structured scheme, with a good mix of work and outside work activities organised by HR
Team was very supportive. I was given tasks through which I have learned and contributed to the teams project
The support was excellent with various members of the company I could talk to apart from my manager. Having a flat management structure made it easy to reach out to people
Beginning weeks were busy due to training sessions and as soon as work picked up, the training sessions reduced in number
I was given tasks that were required to be done as part of releasing our product. So each week I could see how my work was being implemented and made part of deployement
Soft skills like team work will be useful in my last year group project Technical skills like coding, have helped me to recognize this as an area of interest and thus I have chose my final year project along these lines
The Company
Active Happy Supportive Open Stress Free
Structured well with a good balance to not only contribute within teams but also understand the work done by other teams through insight session
With just being 8 weeks, company invested to a good extent through training sessions, organizing socials and volunteering events
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Working from home
Flat organisations allows to easily move across the business
The Culture
The whole atmosphere was quite chilled and relaxed. There was a good social bonding with other interns due to the socials organised by HR which encouraged us to meet more often outside work
It is usually expensive, but that never restricted us from meeting up and socializing
Although the Night life is good, but we rarely went out to a club. It was mostly drinks after work
