The Role
Very enjoyable placement - I cannot believe how much I have learnt in the short space of a year, I have really developed my professional and personal skills in a working environment, with some fantastic people. Very grateful to have had the opportunity to have my placement here!
I was really made to feel like part of the team from the start...it was such a fun and healthy environment I could always feel like I could be myself. All my colleagues were exceptionally kind and always supportive whenever I needed any help with my placement.
My immediate manager was incredibly supportive, as they always would provide one-on-one time with opportunity to discuss opportunities and goals. They were very approachable and ensured I was always active at work learning new skills.
On the most part there was a healthy balance of how busy we were, and most of the time our level of business was manageable given the size of our team. Occasionally, it could be overwhelming (especially in Summer) of how busy we were from a day-to-day basis.
I was given increased amounts of responsibility as time progressed over my placement: at first I began my delegated duties, and soon I would be placed in charge of accounts and different lines of business, and towards the end of my placement I became familiar with managing the fleet and running the operational side of the busines.s
The skills I have learnt over the past year will greatly assist me in my degree studies and beyond, as not only have I learnt masses about commercial awareness and how a business operates, but I feel I have gained transferable skills in this placement that I can use for the rest of my career.
The Company
There was always a great atmosphere in the office, as we all got on so well and there was a constant buzz since everyone was very passionate about succeeding but also having fun in the workplace. The fact we were around customers often resulted in a phenomenal aura in the branch.
The process from start to finish was very organised - interviews were clearly set up and it is evident Enterprise have experience with placements, as from the first day of training to the last day of work I always knew what was going on, where and when. Very impressed at how seamless it all was.
There was a fairly large focus on personal development at Enterprise - the goal of the placement is to train and develop to be a manager, by developing managerial skills, and I feel Enterprise were very good at making that clear and aiding me to become a manager.

Company Parties/Events
Very appealing - there are lots of benefits financially, as well I am very content with the role and atmosphere in the office. There are always lots of opportunities to progress in the company so future employment prospects are appealing as I want to get a handle on my career as soon as possible.
The Culture
There are a lot of interns and placement students so socially in the office its great as there are are many avenues for conversation. Outside the office the social scene is okay but there usually isn't too much time for socialising due to the shift hours Enterprise have.
I lived at home but I did pay rent, however I am aware in Surrey living costs are not the cheapest so those moving for this role may need to shop around to get the most value for money living costs. Socially, the costs are usually quite affordable, I always felt like I could afford a social event me and my colleagues would go on.
Because I didn't work or live in a big city, my nightlife opportunities weren't exceptional but I wasn't too far away from a place where there was a good nightlife, as I am very close to London at the moment.
Enterprise do loads outside of work, whether it be supporting big events such as Pride, or helping out local charities. From what I have seen Enterprise regularly get involved with communities and events and these events are always advertised to employees very well.
