The Role
It was a very enjoyable and well structured internship. I feel like I was able to learn a lot.
I felt very valued and was trusted to perform important tasks, and even to liaise with clients in one instance.
Guidance was provided when requested but taking initiative and being entrepreneurial is more important in order to succeed in the role.
The good kind of busy. Of course some mornings were quiet, but I was never required to do facetime.
As per above
I believe this experience will greatly benefit me as I start my master in finance next year by allowing me to contextualise corporate finance concepts.
The Company
Amazing atmosphere, everyone was friendly and many events were organised.
The internship was very well structured.
Interns were able to attend numerous training sessions on corporate finance, intrinsic and relative valuation methods, as well as bi-weekly introductions to the different groups within the investment bank, from M&A to coverage to capital markets.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare/Dental
Very appealing. Would definitely come back.
The Culture
Despite being incredibly busy, we still managed to make time to socialise, be it over dinner or drinks. Everyone was very nice.
High
Plenty of bars and restaurants next to the office. Probably the best place to work in London in terms of location.
Not really, due to limited time
