The Role
I really enjoyed being part of MUFG. Everyone has always been very nice, welcoming and helpful. Although I was an intern I could get exposure to many people in my 2 teams, at all different levels of the organization. Also MDs and directors want to have you involved in every important activity of the team and this is great!
I felt extremely valued, I am saying this honestly. Everyone has always been interested in getting to know me and my story. It did not matter whether I was an intern or not, colleagues always tried to involve me in any kind of activity, calls with clients, business screenings and so on
I had a line manager and a buddy for both divisions and literally everyday I was asked if everything was okay and if I felt overwhelmed or not. Anytime I had a question I knew I could ask them and they would have helped me. This makes MUFG different from other banks
I was fairly busy. Meaning that it was good to work on deals and to try the fast paced environment and at the same time I knew that they did not want me to feel overwhelmed and stressed. I like being busy and for this reason I was always asked for work to do
A lot of responsibility, I worked on a real deal that eventually got credit approval and a brought a high fee to the bank. The MD and Director recognized my job and I felt extremely valued. I also had the chance to work on pitches that were used with clients
I think they can bring value added to my studies because many things can be learnt only on the job and only on real cases. I also think that this internship will differentiate me from many students during my last year of university and if I will have to work on uni projects it will be extremely helpful
The Company
Amazing atmosphere, no tensions among colleagues and everyone very competent and at the same time very enjoyable to work with. I think this is extremely important because you spend lot of working hours in the office but at least time goes very fast with this kind of people and colleagues
extremely well organized from the beginning. we had lot of activities organized by HR and also by the people at MUFG. this made the internship great because I could meet lot of people from different divisions and businesses and for sure I know I will meet them once again somewhere
I think that not only they invested in the first week of training but they invested in general by providing us everyday support. People time is extremely valuable and I felt I could always ask questions and this means that the company is investing in you by giving its time
Sports and Social Club
I would love to join the organization because people here are smart and on point
