The Role
Fantastic opportunity to get a feel for working life at EY. Extremely approachable people and majority made time to answer your questions. Got involved in projects within first week. Great exposure to real work and client facing roles. Enjoyed the work. Enjoyed working with the people.
Project team delegated me real work, giving me a chance to have real impact on the delivery. Included in all internal meetings. Felt very valued.
Managers gave great support and took time to explain things to you. Fantastic support from counsellor, exceeding all expectations. Guidance on work was clear and an appropriate amount of autonomy was given.
I was particularly busy, but was my choosing to be. Great balance otherwise
Was able to take ownership of deliverables within scope of ability
Great amount of soft skills and time managememt skills gained.
The Company
Bustling but friendly and lively. Everyone was very approachable and nice
Was well organised from my experience given how hard it is to resource interns
A lot of the development i believe was down to the individual but was there should you want to pursue it
Very appealing - for good work life balance and a very strong brand to help you throughout your career
The Culture
Mostly organised informally but the group of summer interns were a great friendly bunch and like minded
London so pretty expensive Transport is expensive and so is accommodation
London is awesome but expensive But plenty of options for all
Limited due to nature of short experience but have heard of plenty of groups and communities within ey
