The Role
I am extremely satisfied by the overall experience at MUFG. The work environment was very friendly and the team has been extremely welcoming and supportive: I had the chance to actively interact with each member, gaining a broad exposure to the different roles and having the possibility to be exposed to the different activities performed on a daily basis.
I have felt involved in the team's work and my input has never been ignored. Every member of the team was available fro questions and feedback on my work.
The support provided by the management and the other members of the team was very adequate. The work environment is extremely friendly and asking questions is highly encouraged.
The tasks assigned were always targeted to my competences. The working hours were extremely manageable: no need to stay in the office late at night and plenty of time to participate to the bank's events.
The level of responsibility was not particularly high on average, but there have been different occasions in which I was allowed to take part in very high profile meetings.
The skills I developed on the desk will definitely be useful in the continue of my degree, especially with regards to the knowledge of the different products offered by the bank and the possibility to learn the dynamics of a client-facing role.
The Company
The atmosphere in the office was ideal: everyone is extremely friendly and welcoming, questions are always encouraged and the conditions to work in a positive environment were all met.
The internship programme was very well organised: the HR team has been absolutely ready to answer any question, we have been provided with a week of training and a series of insightful events have been organized during the time we have been at the Bank, as well as a series of social ad networking events.
The training provided was more than sufficient to face the assigned task. The first week was entirely dedicated to training activities and other events have been provided during the course of the internship.

Company Parties/Events
The future employment prospects are very appealing.
The Culture
A number of social events have been organised, both within the interns class and the broader Bank, in addition to regular spontaneous gatherings. The friendly working atmosphere contributed to the creation of nice social interactions and the environment was always extremely pleasant.
The living cost in the area are quite high, but in general the price level is in line with London average.
Plenty of opportunities are offered to join CSR activities, as well as sport, cultural and social events regularly organised by the dedicated committees.
