The Role
Team very nice, work was meaningful and exposed to many industries as well. Had a really good time while learning a lot from people of all levels, juniors to partners and it was an amazing experience. Really enjoyed myself and made new friends in the office too. Interns were great.
Everyone was really lovely and explained everything in detail. There was no problem with asking questions and i could always rely on my buddy for help with admin issues. We also had socials in the team and went to a partner's house which helped me bond well with the team.
My counsellor checked in with me every week to make sure i was doing well and had good opportunities to work on different projects. The work i did contributed to the final slides presented to the clients so it really felt very meaningful and i did contribute to the team.
It was busier on some days than the rest but the work was always interesting. I was attached to various projects and so could have an overall view of the team's work and that was great. On days with less work, i would schedule chats with some of the team.
I was allowed to do technical work with much guidance and really learnt a lot. All the work i submitted was overviewed and feedback was given so i had a good sense of how much i did was right and could improve on it. It was a good experience there.
Always got guidance on any work i didnt understand. Many elearning platforms as well to learn more technical parts of the work. Was able to learn how to communicate with clients and look at the presentations to be right and well presented. Overall very useful skills have been honed i thjnk.
The Company
Everyone was nice and not too serious joked around when possible but when working people very serious so it was all a good balance overall the team was friendly especially to help us ease in and get used to the work so the atmosphere was really great generally i think
Well structured and we knew what we were signing up for there was also days to hang out with other interns and understand the firm better so overall very well done and the last day we had a social with other interns as well which was really great experience too.
Team spent a lot of time guiding and helping and giving advice whenever needed whether its for work or generally to be a good fit for the company it was very meaningful and everyone ensured i learned the most i could in the few weeks i was there so it was good
Very good because u get a qualification if u take a grad job when u work with them so it is a good investment in the future and the team is very nice to work with and work is very interesting in many industries as well so very amazing time
The Culture
Yes we had many socials after work to bond well with the team and everyone is friendly to talk whenever there is time we also had lunch together and were quite close so it was all very enjoyable and would think that the social scene is pretty amazing overll theree
London is generally expensive so there is nothing to be done about the cost of things but i think there is a lot more choicss of what u can do when u have time so it is always a tradeoff btwn variety and choice esp when it is for fun
London has good night life so u can choose to go out with friends but if u dont it is alright as well generally it has a strong culture to go to bars after work esp nearning the weekends but dont mind it if u dont enjoy those activities too
Yes we did volunterring and planting trees snd thag was quite fun it wss good bonding tome with other interns as well we also had a bake sale to grt moneu for charity and that was really meaningful it is always a choice to join more activities in the firm
