The Role
I enjoyed interning at BAML this summer. It was wonderful to experience the bank's culture and meet people from all over the world.
The senior management in particular made the interns feel very valued. For one, they constantly told us how important we were to the bank.
There was fantastic support from my buddies, development officer and mentor. There was always someone to go to for advice and guidance.
Everyday at the bank is different. The pressure of work also varied at different points of the internship. Weeks 2-8 were super busy, and the rest were a little quieter.
I was given a fair amount of responsibilities.
I feel like I have learnt so much in these weeks on my internship, mostlly soft skills and some technical skills that I am certain have made me a better person and prepared me for a global career.
The Company
People were unbelievably helpfuland very willing to teach and share knowledge.
I thought the internship program was very well thought through and organized. It all worked out really seamlessly.
We had an entire week of technical skills training in the first week of the internship. Analysts and Associates also shared materials with me and organized teach in sessions.

The future employment prospects at BAML are super appealing! It is difficult to imagine anyone not wanting a full time position here.
The Culture
Yes, we had several events designed to make sure that interns knew one another and even became friends.
The cost of living in London is pretty high, but I hardly felts it as I had dinner at the office and took an office cab home
It was pretty good. I only went out a few times.
Yes, there were several. Interns are in fact encouraged to.
