The Role
A good mix of work
Felt very invested in and was given real responsibly on placement
Regular 1:1s with relevant managers and an effective support system in place
Good mix of task but never felt stressed, and was able to lessen my workload if necessary
I was given some real responsibility to complete useful tasks from start to finish that were useful for my team
Gained a sound knowledge of the financial industry as well as soft skills that are transferable to the real world
The Company
Office was open so I could meet people from other teams, but was quiet
Expectations and objectives were clearly set out from the beginning, as well as my development and this was regularly checked. Very good organisational framework
Lots of training events and opportunities to go to more if you wanted, and some boujee events that made me feel valued

A social lead and regular other opportunities to socialise
Cheaper than London!
Good city nightlife in a new place to explore
Lots of committees and extra curricular opportunities that you are very encouraged to get involved with
