The Role
I enjoyed the work I completed in my placement. The work was challenging and meaningful and will have a lasting impact on the team making me feel my time was valued.
I felt valued by my team and enjoyed spending time with them. I was invited to spend time with my team outside of the office and thoroughly enjoyed their company.
Whenever I needed advice or wanted feedback my manager was always there to provide it. I felt supported throughout the 8 weeks.
I felt I had a good workload daily. If I did not have enough work on I was able to take more on from members of the team as and when I wanted to. On a couple of occasions I felt I had a lot of work but was able to effectively manage it.
I felt I was given responsibility over my own work and work load. When I needed advice or help my team members were very helpful and able to provide it. However overall I was responsible for my own work and project which was satisfying as I could take ownership for my achievements.
I feel I developed many skills throughout my time in the team. Especially my excel skills which will be invaluable in my future career. My ability to build and maintain relationships also improved over the 8 weeks which I shall be further improving throughout the rest of university and my life.
The Company
The office atmosphere was very friendly . I always felt welcome to be there and was able to chat with team members as well as focus on work . Overall the work environment was very good and helped me to focus and complete my work to a high standard .
On the whole it was organised quite well . However originally the group project presentations were said to be in week 7 in the journals but my group's ended up being in week 6. This change meant I had to cancel a site visit that had previously been planned that would have provided a great insight for my placement.
I felt lots was invested in me to help me develop and train me.

Future employment prospects are very attractive. The ability to progress and internal mobility is something that I really like about the company. The international managers programme is also very appealing to me.
