The Role
Thoroughly enjoyed the whole atmosphere and meeting great people. The tasks were extremely varied and gave you a good grounding of skills.
They were welcoming straight away and valued my input as if I was a permanent colleague.
We had many avenues of support for which we could fall back on if we had any questions throughout. The support we received varied from informal to more formal support.
I had a very good balance of work which was value adding along with the many other tasks such as charitable work and external group projects.
I was given value adding work especially towards the end of the internship and was given the necessary support I needed in order to complete it.
I have learned a lot from this internship which will help at uni, especially the time management element and reaching out to people when you need assistance or just for advice.
The Company
Great atmosphere throughout the grads and interns, as well as the team I worked with. Everyone was extremely friendly and approachable.
Extremely good organisation of events and hotel stays when necessary which made us feel at ease straight away.
Most certainly was I invested in with many development days and workshops in order to improve skills such as our personal branding and resilience.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
There are many different roles which I would love to experience and we have been given great access to find out about other areas of the business.
The Culture
Excellent, we had various socials and events which many of the interns attended, as well as many of the grads.
Leeds is very affordable and had a wide variety of places to go that offer cheap and more upmarket options.
Leeds has exceptional nightlife which I was aware of as I go to uni there.
We had a charity day along with a grow £10 challenge for charity so there was plenty of opportunity. There was also complete flexibility if you wanted to go visit other interns or teams across the country.
