The Role
I enjoyed the culture of the firm as everyone was receptive and welcoming. I believe i've learnt so much about the industry from working here and its been an enjoyable learning experience.
From the first week I was given important work by colleagues to support them on which really gave me a sense of value and importance.
From the get go my supervisor had work prepared for me and set me long term intern project which kept me busy in between times of tasks. She had informed everyone before I came about me so a few colleagues had work ready for me after a week or two.
It varied by week but I on average I had some piece of work to do every day. There were certain periods which I was ultra busy such as the second to last week but there were a few days in which work was light but I had my long term project to do.
I was given a reasonable amount of responsibility due to my role. I played a key role in providing information of prospective clients for my colleagues which they are using to find new clients for the firm.
My research skills and data filtering skills significantly developed due to the volume of data i had to filter through or find. This will help me in future roles and studies in which there is a lot of information to filter through and present to people in a simpler format.
The Company
It was a welcoming office where everyone got along well with each other.
It was relatively well organised as speaker series were planned throughout the internship and support was in place. Maybe they could ask line managers to have colleagues have work prepared in advance to give.
I believe they invested reasonably in me with the speaker series which was really informative and the presentation training from Martin really helped me work on my presenting skills.

They are reasonably appealing with the ability to choose where you go after your rotations. However after that I have no idea how easy it is to move between departments.
The Culture
Yes there was
Was relatively expensive but was value for money
I have no idea
They were limited due to the short term nature of the internship
