  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • My line manager was extremely welcoming and involved me in a number of negotiations and meetings to enable me to get a better understanding of the organisation. He was a great support in all day to day activities.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I provided support to the sales team as and when possible, getting involved in a variety of different tasks. On top of this I was also given my own projects to work on.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • As my confidence and language ability improved I was given more and more responsibility. The projects I was asked to complete had a real impact on the business, helping to improve practices and service to customers.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The skills I developed during my placement are invaluable and will undoubtedly help me in my future career. The placement gave me a greater understanding of working for a large organisation and gave me a better idea of the kind of career I hoped to develop after graduating from university.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

  • Both were expensive (especially accommodation) though this was to be expected when working and living in Paris.
