The Role
I very much enjoyed the internship. The work was stimulating and challenging. The colleagues were supportive and friendly.
After initially having my capabilities tested I quickly settled into the team and was given increasing responsibility. By the end of the internship I felt valued.
There is ongoing support throughout the internship with regular meetings, talks, and lunches with senior management.
The job is very demanding quite intense and as a result the internship was very busy. Especially when you are given increased responsibility as you prove yourself. The capped hours at midnight made the work much more manageable.
I was given significant responsibility on both origination and execution transactions.
There is a very steep learning curve in banking and the acquired skills are readily transferable to many areas.
