The Role
I really enjoyed my internship here. JP where very good at making everyone feel very included and supplied us with interesting projects for the summer.
I felt like the work I was doing was of value to everyone around me. Everyone was also very helpful.
Everyone was very helpful with any questions or issues i was having. We where also supplied with training to introduce us to working here.
Every day varied but the majority I was kept busy and working on my project.
I was given my own project of which I had full control on how it was developed.
The general software practices and use of agile programming will help me greatly in the future.
The Company
Alright but most people tend to have earphones in and not really talking.
Lots of events organised in adavnce for during the internship. The first week was abit slow in setting up but from then onwards was great.
The company supplied us with a lot of training to complete. This training aimed more at general banking though than the area we where involved in although resources such as pluralsight where supplied.
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
I would be interested in returning to J P Morgan.
The Culture
Lots of intern events where held ensuring everyone got to know eachother. Chats where also used so as we could talk.
Glasgow is a great city for socialising with loads of cheap places to go out.
Glasgow nightlife is class, loads of student and cheap nights out.
There was loads of opportunities including GoKarting, Golfing ranges, dinners, drinks and more.
