About You
I enjoyed a lot this experience especially given the amount of things I have learned and the friendly environment of my team. I also had the opportunity to interact with many divisions and different roles in the organization. I also enjoyed being exposed to daily activities as well as ad hoc projects.
More than I expected. Rather then being given dull tasks, I was assigned to projects that really had a value added for the team in their analysis of risk and interaction with the front office.
I was supported a lot not just by my to mentors but also by other members of the team and employees, at all levels, in other divisions such as IT and Operations.
They will not help much in my studies but they will be helpful in any future career and especially if I will manage to join the Financial industry.
The Company
It wasn't very structured. It was more of an on demand basis job; but there was always something to be done.
Very cooperative and friendly. My colleagues were always supportive and relaxed. In general there was agreement every time with the other Risk Managers. it was very easy to talk with them about hobbies and things outside of work.
They invested a lot in the training and seemed to be willing to invest as much as I could require.
To a certain extent but not completely given that I performed more one-off projects rather than the daily routine of a risk manager, with some exceptions.
A lot and it was evident since the beginning. The company expects results but doesn't pressure employees excessively.
A lot as I now have a clear view on this role in a bank and I would like it to be my future career
Everything Else
I was adequately paid for the job I have done and it was enough to cover all expenses
yes and on a regular basis. Every Thursday there were aperitivos for the entire bank and HR organized many events to network.
They were adequately organized most of the time with some exceptions
yes and I also participated to outside activities as rock climbing. I wish I had more time for them.
Definitely yes in light of all the good things I can say about it.
