The Role
I enjoyed the internship because of a nice team and manager, other interns I got along with very well and the ability to move around the firm and see other areas. I disliked it because of the division I was placed.
I felt very valued by my manager who promoted my work and encouraged independence.
I did not need a lot of guidance from my supervisors, because my actual task was different from their expertise.
By week 8 I had completed my work and could not contribute effectively any longer.
I was given an independent project that was quite interestingI was given an independent project that was quite interestingI
I'm doing a physics degree and worked in compliance, not much overlap.
The Company
The general atmosphere was lively, it was a bit too loud and a bit too impersonal and the general temperature affected the general atmosphere in a positive way by being not too warm and not too cold to effectively work in. I in general enjoyed the atmosphere around the office especially with interns.
The overall internship was not particularly well set up as I faced issues in the first week with access to the data that I required and the applications I required and the access to the floor I was working on and the starting gifts and the introduction day which I missed because of an exam.
The firm in general did not invest a lot of training and resources into the interns. Except for a basic excel training in the first week and a number of talks on various aspects of the company and other companies there was no specific training that I took part in during the internship.
Healthcare/Dental
Future employment is appealing because of the increased salary and benefits and future employment is appealing because of a relatively engaging workplace and future employment is appealing because of a so and so atmosphere and future work is not an appealing option due to a number of organisational short comings in the company.
The Culture
There was a good to very good social scene amongst fellow placement students and other coworkers. With the other interns I went out a number of times after work for drinks which was usually a very fun activity and I spent lunch with the interns which was always a relief so not bad.
I live in London which is a very expensive area to live in because of high rents high food prices high transport cost. live in London which is a very expensive area to live in because of high rents high food prices high transport cost. live in London which is a very expensive area to live in because of high rents high food prices high transport cost.

There were a large number of opportunities available to the interns which ranges from social to sports events. There were a large number of opportunities available to the interns which ranges from social to sports events.
