The Role
I have enjoyed my everyday during this internship, especially my team, everyone was incredibly kind and helpful.
I receive feedbacks and thanks from each piece of work I've done, and I can feel that my inputs are really valued and will be used in the meetings.
My colleagues tried to give me the work from which I can learn something, even though it may cost much time to explain it to me than doing it themselves. But there's also time when they are too busy to explain each single detail or they have an idea and would like me to materialise this idea into a page where some thinking / innovations are required.
The work comes natually to you as long as you still have some capacities. Generally speaking, I always have something to do.
The responsibility given to you is as much as an analyst in the second month as long as you prove that you're reliable enough in the first month.
Very helpful since I study finance. This internship gave me a closer look to what I study
The Company
Generally great in the floor in IB sense, but it varies definitely from team to team.
Highly well organised
There has constantly been plenty of trainings before and during my internship offered by the company, CCS and my team.
Subsidised Canteen
Summer internship is the direct channel to return as a full time analyst
The Culture
Some social activities are organised cross-sectionally and interns always some after-works and go out on WE.
London is generally an expensive city and especially in the city.
During the weekdays, Broadgate circle is a quite lively place to grab a drink. And interns go out almost every WE to somewhere else. The social life does not really get you bored.
This depends quite much on your workload and willingness.
