The Role
Really enjoyed my time at PwC, having the opportunity to work on a variety of different roles has been really insightful. Also being sent to London for 2 weeks was also an added bonus which I really enjoyed.
I really felt a part of the team while here. Often very senior members of the team would take time to talk to me and have catch ups with me which was really appreciated. Additionally, I was given actual tasks which I was relied on for, which made me feel like I was actually part of a team rather than just someone in the way.
I was given lots of support and opportunities by my career coach, discussing my short and long term future at PwC and what opportunities are available.
I think that as a whole I was kept busy and had stuff to do, however at the end of the day, I am an untrained intern, so there is only so many jobs I can do. However, overall I was satisfied with the work I had to do.
I felt that especially towards the end, I was put on a project which I did the lions share of the work. My manager supervised me alot, however in order for me to learn, allowed me to do most of the tasks which was really useful.
The skills I have picked up on various softwares such as tableau and alteryx are all skills I would not have naturally picked up or found had I not worked here, so overall very happy with what I have picked up.
The Company
Very friendly, truly felt I could put time in any member of staffs calendars in order to have a chat. Moreover, went on nearly all the socials which suggests that I liked the people in my office and had a great time!
I think as a whole it was run quite well, they were quite flexible to extend my internship while I was here.
The one way that I really felt invested in, was on my trip to London my senior manager really went out of his way in order to get me work that would be insightful, which I was really grateful for.

Working from home
If I get an offer, I very much plan on returning to the company and working my way up
The Culture
The initial batch of interns I joined with, many I am still speaking to now despite not working together for many weeks, so overall I have made some good friends with other joiners
I think that being in the center of Birmingham it was never going to be cheap, however for socials, often some drinks were paid for which saved alot of money.
I really enjoy the local pubs and clubs here in the city center
Events definitley came up, however I personally mainly did socials with the team and the other interns, however had I wanted to, the oppurtunities were there
